What is hooping? Hooping is way more FUN!Everybody and Anybody can hoop. The bigger hoops for the adults makes it much easier for the rotation as it is slow enough and its not hard to get to dancing or doing tricks with the hoop. Advantages of a heavier bigger hoop is that it circles your waist which gives you a massage and helps your intestines get a rubbing. Talk about feeling great! While that is happening your core is being worked soon you can say "SO LONG FLABBY BELLY!" and we should not forget the arms those hoops are smaller in diameter to work the tricepts/bicepts/latismi dorsi/neck/shoulders ... you name it - ITS a FULL BODY WORKOUT~
Like with any cardiovascular exercise you can work up a nice sweat - 600 to 800 calories are burned per hour of hooping. Hooping is most definitely a workout and I am a believer that it is HEALTHY!
Get up off that COACH and do some hooping in between commercial breaks. Those boring commercials come in handy =)

I had two weeks before a MAJOR party weekend at a beach resort and I did the hula hoop for just 5 to 7 minutes a day and voila! The results were just fab.
